Daily Routine
Nursery opens at 7.15 am
Breakfast runs from 7.15am – 9.00am.
At 9am we split off into our separate rooms and each room does their own group time.
After group time the children are invited to go and take part in the planned activities and also have access to the continuous provision that is available at all times.
10.30am is snack time where the children have a light snack and a drink of milk or water. We do this in a group in our own rooms. 
After snack its back to planned activities and free play. 
At around 11.45 its time to tidy up and get ready for lunch. 
The children have their lunch at 12.00pm.
The 2’s room and 3+ room eat their meals together in the dining room and the babies eat in their own room.
After lunch the children separate back into their own rooms and we have a period of free play.
At 1pm we do another group time. During this time we usually incorporate phonics, singing, stories or dancing.
At 1.30 we return to planned activities and free play.
At 2pm the children have another light snack and a drink of milk or water.
We usually merge this with some quiet time where the children will sit and listen to some music and chat.
3.30 is tidy up time and the children will then get ready for tea. 
4pm is teatime. Tea is a light meal so that the children can still eat with their family when they get home.
After tea the 2’s and 3’s tend to join together. We use the 2’s room and the sensory room after tea for free play.  Between 4pm and 6pm we are on wind down. Children start to go home from 4pm onwards.
Nursery closes at 6pm.
